The Azuero Peninsula is the most exposed part of Panama to the South Pacific Ocean, due to this geographical position you can see countless natural phenomena both in the sea and in the sky. In some remote places on the Azuero Peninsula you can appreciate the different constellations like nowhere else on the planet because there is low light pollution and during clear nights you can see the stars very close.

Among the constellations that you can see are the Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, also known as the Great Bear, Orion’s Belt, among others. In addition to the stars, you can also see a large number of satellites in orbit, UFOS, Lights and phenomena that still continue to intrigue human beings. For 5 years I was living in the mountains where I was able to learn to live in harmony with nature and connect with communication channels that I have not yet been able to find anywhere else. I was also able to witness some phenomena on the coasts that, in my opinion, were not very normal.

It was during a calm and clear night in the middle of the year 2022 when I was enjoying a good book in a hammock after dinner, hypnotized by the relaxing sound of the sea and a beautiful starry night when I realized that in the distance on the horizon They began to see what for me were shooting stars that fell into the sea in the distance. When I began to pay more attention to it I was able to realize that it was not a shower of shooting stars since they were seen more and more closely together and brighter. They fell on the other side of the mountains to the south, apparently into the sea. After witnessing this event I began to investigate and search on the Internet and found something about a very remote point in the Pacific between Chile and New Zealand where different space agencies usually make re-entries of their ships and aerospace satellites. This remote cemetery of space junk where remains that can pass the Earth’s atmosphere lie is called NEMO POINT.

Point Nemo is a position that was meticulously calculated for aerospace re-entry since it is very far from any inhabited place. It should be noted that the chances that aerospace debris could fall on an inhabited place are very minimal, since to enter Earth’s orbit a certain well-calculated trajectory must be followed to avoid some type of accident when re-entering Earth.

Now that you know how and where ships and satellites get back to Earth, you might wonder how they rescue all these ships and debris at sea? Well, each international space agency has a rescue teams for both the ships and any debris that they want to rescue from the bottom of the sea.
