Time is one of the most relative things in this universe, how could we determine if each day we live is one day less or one day more? It only depends on us If we will build a passing life or make our life a legend. Throughout our lives we will always have obstacles that we will have to overcome as we live. Human beings must know how to take advantage of every moment of their time since it is something that we cannot replace and that each individual as a person must take advantage of by doing what they really love. If a person is forced to spend their life doing something they really don’t want to do, then it will be a waste of time.
Today, in the 21st century, it would be absurd to talk about slavery, if there are human rights that govern modern nations today, however, every day I see how human life is denigrated to the lowest levels. After having lived through several stages of my life in which I have enjoyed every second to the fullest and have done what I have wanted, I have ALWAYS set goals and dreams for myself which I have achieved with effort. It was always one of my dreams to take a bicycle trip, but each time it was a little difficult since I did not have the resources or the necessary equipment, but this time I decided and started my bicycle tour.
There were always doubts like what do I do with the dog? Well, I’m bringing it, I didn’t have a companion for this crazy trip but Brownie has been my best companion on this adventure. I watched some videos of YouTubers who travel with their pets and I built a basket for Brownie which has worked quite well so far considering that everything has been made at home and my bike is not the best for this trip but in the end, the desires were more than needs. We left on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from Chitré and today, Wednesday, September 25, 2024, we are somewhere in Costa Rica.
Decided to explore the world on my own and without having to follow schedules or routes, on this trip I have been able to meet places and people that I never imagined I would meet. Being the captain of my own destiny, there is no greater satisfaction than doing what you really want. I don’t have a return ticket and the compass points adventures and destinations within my reach.
On the street I have also encountered many difficulties which I have overcome and have gained experience to continue traveling. On this trip I have had the feeling that I have escaped and been freed to seek new opportunities and see new horizons. I have felt hot and cold, sleepy and tired and I have been hungry but all this has been worth it. Each kilometer of this trip takes me to places that I never thought existed and I have been able to know the sweetest part of the adventure and feel firsthand each experience of the trip. I have met people with a big heart along the road and they have been the ones who motivate me to pedal and leave behind everything I don’t want in my present. Inspiration has become my best ally to give rise to creativity and enjoy indescribable places.
An evening looking at the summer clouds and feeling the breeze on my face makes me feel that I am alive and that every day is a new opportunity to fulfill our dreams. Just like the look of a person, a sunset can express many feelings and awaken inspiration in people who take a minute to contemplate the majesty of seeing how our largest star goes to sleep and makes room for the night. The peace and tranquility during these minutes of meditation can open doors you never thought existed.
